Adoption Process

Here at GPAR we could have any variety of animals in care at any one time.
They come from a diverse range of backgrounds including from the pound, vet clinics, the streets and private surrenders.

Prior to becoming available for adoption, all animals are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, parasite treated and health checked by a veterinarian. All go home with a 3 day health guarantee.

  1. Review our animals available for adoption through our website, Facebook Page or PetRescue

  2. Complete the relevant Adoption Application in as much detail as possible. This gives us an insight into your home environment and if the pet may be the best suited to your home.

  3. All applications are reviewed by our volunteers, and if we believe the animal will be a suitable match for your home, a GPAR Volunteer will contact you to organise a Meet & Greet.

  4. If the Meet & Greet determines a good match, the relevant adoption paperwork will be completed and you can welcome the animal into your home.

*Please kindly note : We receive a lot of applications. If you have not heard back from us 5 days after applying, your application has been unsuccessful. Don’t be discouraged, this may mean that particular kitty was just better suited with a different home and it is nothing at all personal :)

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUP’PAW’T
