The beautiful 5/6 year old Blue Heeler, Willow that has been in her loving home for 4 years that urgently needs to be rehomed.

Reason for rehoming is she is fighting with and hurting the other dog she generally loves and calls home with (because she is territorial over the kids), and these behaviours are increasingly unpredictable and escalating.

Willow can also be quite reactive around other unknown dogs - she is a rescue dog, this is common. So best to be a pet free home.

Despite these challenges, Willow is quite honestly the most beautiful dog. Loves her humans, loves to play, snuggle and wants to be apart of the family at all times.

She is the so BEAUTIFUL and affectionate 90% of the time but due to the older dog in her home who is not able to fend for herself and being started around a 2.5 year old and 1 year old child, its not safe.

Owners have had extensive behaviourists and trainers with no luck here. The dogs are being kept separately as much as possible but this isn’t a long term option as it’s not fair. Willow’s owners have tried EVERYTHING.

Unfortunately it’s gotten to the point where the Vet has suggested putting her down if she cannot be rehomed which is the worst and heartbreaking outcome for such a beautiful dog.

We are looking for someone to take her who doesn’t have another dog. Someone who is lonely, wants a loyal companion and a furry friend to cuddle up to and be apart of the family (ideally with a bit of land, as she loves to run). She is not to go to someone who will keep her as a purely outside dog, as she thrives on being around her people.

Willow is desexed, microchipped, up to date with flea/worming. Has all her vaccinations, but hasn’t had her yearly booster parvo jab this year.

Let’s get this girl home asap. She deserves it ! And so do her loving family
